Die Produkt Palette von Peggy Peg ist sehr rationell ausgelegt und überschaubar. Viele Produkte haben mehr als einen Anwendungsbereich. So auch die Anker Platte. Mit beiliegendem Sturmhaken (Stahl) ist diese eine hervorragende Verankerung für Sturmgurte und Leinen. Bis zu 6 Schraubheringe N mit 20cm Länge können die Platte im Boden verankern. Sollte eine Schraube auf ein Hindernis stoßen, kann der flach ausgebildete Haken durch einschieben in die Höhenverstellung auch zur Fixierung dienen. Andernfalls kann man auch die neu entwickelten Peg&Stop Schrauben an dieser Platte verwenden. Anstellstangen von Reise- bzw. Wintervorzelten können zwischen den beiden Platten fixiert werden. So kann der Fuß weder nach unten in weichen Böden versinken, noch kann der Fuß zur Seite hält aber in jedem Fall die Andruckwulst des Zeltes auf Druck und somit sicher in Position.

Bitte beachten: Der Hardcore Peggy (Schlagschraubhering) passt leider nicht durch die Löcher dieser Platte, da dieser Jahre später entwickelt wurde. Bei Bedarf die Fix&Go Ankerplatte 2.0 verwenden. Diese kann auch mit Sturmhaken verwendet werden und da passt dann auch der HC Peggy.

Memories of the Camino

First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.
